Pavones Area and Nature Information
Pavones sits on the southern point of the Golfo Dulce, a deep and mineral rich oceanic bay on the Pacific side of Costa Rica. The Golfo Dulce is one of 3 tropical fjords in the entire world and twice as big and deep as either of them.
This deep, tropical water ravine creates the perfect conditions to support 2.5% of the world’s biodiversity. The bay separates mainland Costa Rica from the Osa Peninsula and is surrounded by protected national parks. Whales migrate here to have their babies year-round and dolphin numbers are seen in the hundreds. Sharks, sea turtles, scarlet macaws, toucans, a variety of monkeys, jaguars and more live in the jungles and seas in this area.
Pavones is off the beaten path, but it’s well-known in the surfer world as home to the “longest left-hand, warm-water wave in the world.”
Fortunately, the land here is still wild, and widely undeveloped. You won’t see any busy tourist areas or resorts here. Horses are seen roaming the unfenced pastures and drinking freely from the rivers. The beaches are pristine, the waterways clear, and Nature remains supreme as the main attraction.

Mystic, Guide, Healer, Herbalist
Mila shares meditation, somatic energy healing, Reiki, intuitive guidance, shadow and light work, yoga and dance, herbal and plant medicine. Embodiment and integration guide, emotional ~ energetic alchemist, dancer, womb and heart awakener, herbalist, yogi, artist, unseen realms connector. She is bridging all of this in a comprehensive, integrative, holistic way, aimed to address the individual and the community’s healing, transformation and well being, accessing the joy, bliss, purpose, heart and intuition.
Her service is devoted to ritual, ceremonial ways of practices bridging life as an art, through presence and intention, free expression, creativity, communication, and authenticity in a holistic way ( mind, body, spirit). Walking the Beauty way and activator of the Unseen Realms. Mila works with individuals as well as groups around the world and her aim is to empower people into their own remembrance, connection with inner voice, sovereignty and freedom.
Maite
Singer, Songwriter, Ceremony Facilitator
Trained in classical piano at the age of five, Maité has since developed an impressive repertoire of original, multi-instrumental, heart-centered music. She draws inspiration from the natural elements, world music, ceremony, and her own personal journey of healing.
Maité has participated in many concerts and festivals around the world. She has been the opener for Curawaka, FIA, and Carrie Tree, and has shared the stage with the likes of Rising Appalachia, Mike Love, and Olox.
With her hypnotic voice and powerful lyrics, she captures a growing international audience of devoted listeners. Maité is celebrated for her ability to merge genres, seamlessly weaving etheric melodies and words together for listeners to resonate deeply with.
Maité’s musical expression is strongly influenced by her studies in indigenous wisdom, master plant teachers, and world travels. As a writer and composer, Maité draws on her multi-ethnic background to write songs using a variety of languages, cultures, and styles. A devoted student of music and story,
Maité can be described as a songcatcher, a poet, and a muse in service to the healing power of sound and song as medicine.
When she is not performing or composing music, Maité enjoys traveling, ceremonies, and spending time in nature. She works as a mentor for those learning to use their true voices to express themselves fully and authentically and holds powerful voice workshops around the world.

This Goddess Retreat in Costa Rica was incredible. In the middle of the jungle, surrounded by Mother Nature I instantly felt at peace. Mila and Zlatka were so welcoming and the atmosphere was filled with so much care and intentionality. I loved every single day of this retreat. We danced, sang, meditated and connected deeply with each other and Mother Gaia… just a few of the activities at this retreat. I loved how there was a flow between activities but also space to just be and reflect. I left this space with sisters I’ll always stay in connection with, a regulated nervous system, a journey deeper into my own depths, and an experience I’ll always cherish. Thank you beautiful ladies! This was truly Heaven on Mother Earth.
